Engineer at the intersection of cloud, data and AI

I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Union Assurance PLC (John Keells Holdings) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I build the systems customers rely on every day: the policy payment portal, the loyalty points platform, health check-up registration and the backend of the Clicklife mobile app, running across MySQL, MS SQL Server and Oracle.

Today most of my work is about bringing generative AI into the enterprise: LLM-powered features, AI-assisted workflows, MCP servers that give agents safe access to internal tools and data, and an AI health and wellness app with food calorie analysis and diabetes risk checks.

I care about clean architecture (DDD, microservices, event-driven design), automated delivery, and mentoring the engineers around me.
